Q: How long does a custom engagement ring take to make?
A: Custom rings are completed within approximately 3-4 weeks. Rush orders can certainly be accommodated depending on the design – call us to discuss details. Q: What if I LOVE a certain design on your site, but want to make one small change?
A: If you would like to adjust a specific ring already on our site, additional charges may apply depending on what you would like. Some alterations require a $300 fee for a new CAD model, in addition to a price increase for any extra diamonds you desire. We want to be as accommodating as possible, so please call our studio to discuss your options with Vanessa and we’ll come up with the best possible solution for your budget. RETURN TO TOP
Q: What if I don’t know what ring style is perfect for her?
A: Semper Fi Diamonds understands that some men might not be sure of whether or not their girlfriend will like their design choice. If you prefer, you may propose with a simple solitaire diamond ring that you purchase ahead of time, and then she can choose the ring style she wants afterwards. Once you return the solitaire diamond ring in new condition, we will credit that cost toward her new ring. Plus, if she ultimately prefers to have a completely original, custom ring created through our sister site, Vanessa Nicole Jewels, we will waive the additional $300 CAD model fee. RETURN TO TOP

A: We sure do! We can make custom men’s bands out of stainless steel, 14k/18k gold, or platinum. Prices vary depending on the type of metal you choose and how thick you want it to be. RETURN TO TOP
Q: What do custom engagement rings typically cost?
A: There are two parts to a ring: The ring mounting & the center diamond. The ring mounting is a flat fee. This includes: CAD (Computer Aided Design), metal, pavé diamonds & labor. The only variable that makes the final price fluctuate is the center stone. RETURN TO TOP
Q: How do I find out her ring size?
A: The most accurate way to find out a ring size is to have her finger sized locally. If you are surprising her, try to work with a friend or family member to find out for you. If these 2 options are not viable, a free ring sizing is always available after the proposal. RETURN TO TOP
Q: Do you sell clarity enhanced or laser drilled diamonds?
A: Semper Fi Diamonds does NOT sell clarity enhanced or laser drilled diamonds. RETURN TO TOP
Q: Do you provide a diamond certificate?
A: For diamonds under 1ct, we find most clients prefer not to pay an extra $200 for the GIA certification. We do offer it at the additional cost if a client wants the paper. All diamonds 1ct and above come with certification. RETURN TO TOP
Q: Do you provide Conflict-Free Diamonds?
A: Yes, all diamonds we sell are compliant with the Kimberly Process. The Kimberley Process is a joint government, industry and civil society initiative to stem the flow of conflict diamonds – rough diamonds used by rebel movements to finance wars against legitimate governments. The trade in these illicit stones has fueled decades of devastating conflicts in countries such as Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Sierra Leone. (UN Compliance Statement Regarding the Kimberly Process: For any product fabricated from rough diamonds mined from January 1, 2003 onward, our vendors certify that the diamonds provided have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations Resolutions. WARRANTY
Q: Do you have a Lifetime Warranty on your jewelry?
A: Each ring setting carries our lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This applies to jewelry that has not been worked on by a third party jeweler and has been worn under normal conditions. If you experience a problem with your jewelry and it has either been worked on by a third party jeweler or has experienced abnormal wear and tear (bent out of shape from dish disposal or car door, etc) we will gladly take it back and work on it for a fee to be determined. This does not apply to diamonds –we don’t cover random chips that can happen on prong-set diamonds throughout the years, but we’ll be happy to take a look at it and offer re-cutting suggestions. If ever a small pavé diamond under 2.5mm falls out, we will happily replace it free of charge. RETURN TO TOP
Q: What is your Return Policy for the ring setting?
A: Your purchase is completely hand made upon order, and every effort will be made to ensure that the jewelry is exactly what you requested. In the event that you are less than completely satisfied, we will make every effort to resolve the issue to your approval. We want you to LOVE your jewelry for a lifetime. If you are not satisfied for any reason, within 15 days of purchase, you may return any ring purchased *directly from this website* for a full refund. It must be in new condition and not scratched or chipped. (All one-of-a-kind rings that have been modified from the website version via personal communication with Vanessa Nicole are non-refundable).

Q: How do I insure my diamond or diamond jewelry?
A: Many people think that the best way to insure their jewelry is to add it to their homeowner’s insurance. This isn’t always the most cost effective option. A separate jewelry policy helps you avoid the risk of putting your valuable homeowner’s policy in jeopardy in terms of higher premiums, or even cancellation, in the event your jewelry is lost or stolen. Touchstone Insurance is a full service and reputable company offering a simple, affordable jewelry-only insurance policy, based on an invoice or appraisal. Another reputable insurance agency is Jewelers Mutual. Annual coverage costs about 1 to 3 percent of the ring’s appraised value. Q: How will my order be shipped?
A: All orders are shipped via FedEx ‘Fully Insured’ and ‘Signature Required’. This means that your order will be delivered safely and will be fully insured until you have opened your package. All shipments are packaged discreetly with NO indication that your package contains any type of jewelry item. “VNJ 861 6th Avenue, Ste. 715 San Diego CA 92101″ is printed on the package as the return address.
